The role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Legal Counsel to join our legal team.

The successful candidate will be providing legal advice and support on a wide range of legal areas, such as the following:

Contracts

• Provide business-oriented support in negotiating and interpreting agreements.
• Draft a wide range of agreements with customers, partners, and suppliers.
• Enhance standard agreement templates and streamline processes for their use.
• Ensure that agreements entered into by Telenor Connexion are enforceable and aligned with business objectives.

Legal Compliance & Advisory Support

• Support internal stakeholders in monitoring and assessing legal matters, with a focus on international sanctions and data protection regulations, and other relevant legal issues in both domestic and international markets where Telenor Connexion operates.
• Provide general legal support to various departments, including Product, Roaming, and other business units, in special projects as needed.
• Advise the organization to ensure that:
• Telenor Connexion operates in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Contractual arrangements are enforceable as intended and do not pose undue risks.
• Telenor Connexion mitigates liability exposure to third parties.

Use of External Counsel

• Select, manage, and coordinate the use of external legal counsel effectively.

Execution of Formalities & Group Policies

• Provide support in executing formalities and implementing Group Policies related to legal compliance, as required.

Process Improvement & Compliance

• Continuously enhance legal and compliance processes in alignment with the Quality Management System (QMS).

You will report directly to the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer and the place of work is Solna.

Qualifications

• A degree in law (LL.M)
• 3 - 5 years of legal experience from a law firm or corporate legal department, preferably in an international context.
• Knowledge of contract law and preferably also data privacy.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
